Terms of Use

The agreement between you and us for using Walk With Jesus and its AI features, in plain words.

Effective October 10, 2026

1. Who You're Dealing With

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Carlos Felipe Garcia Murillo, operating as RationalBit ("we", "us"), who makes Walk With Jesus. You can reach us at info@rationalbit.com.

By using Walk With Jesus you agree to these terms. When you tap Accept in the app, on the privacy step or on the sheet that asks for your permission, you agree to them too. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Apple's License and These Terms

Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the Standard EULA) licenses the app to you. These terms add to it for the service behind the app: the AI features, our server and your subscription. They do not replace it.

How we handle your data is set out in our Privacy Policy.

3. Minimum Age

Walk With Jesus is for people 18 and older, in every country. No one under 18 may use it, with or without a parent's or guardian's permission. By using the app, and when you accept in the app, you confirm that you are 18 or older.

If we learn that someone under 18 is using the app, we will delete the data we hold about them, as section 12 of our Privacy Policy says.

4. AI Features

Some features send what you write, your handwriting and your recordings to AI models, through OpenRouter, and only after you give your permission in the app. Section 3 of our Privacy Policy says what is sent, when, to whom, and what is kept.

Verses, reflections, reminders, insights and transcripts are generated by AI. They can be wrong, incomplete, or not right for you. They are not pastoral, medical, legal or crisis advice, and they do not take the place of a pastor, a doctor or another qualified person. Check every scripture reference against the Bible before you rely on it.

Walk With Jesus is not for emergencies. If you or someone else is in danger, contact your local emergency services.

AI features have usage limits, on the free tier and on Pro, and the features, models and limits can change.

5. Third-Party Terms

The AI models are made and served by other companies, and their terms apply to how the AI features may be used. By using the AI features, you agree to use them only as OpenRouter's Terms of Service, OpenRouter's documentation, and the terms of each model and host that may answer your request allow.

Those companies, with a link to each one's terms, are listed in our Privacy Policy under "Which AI companies". Any of them may answer a request. The list changes when we change models; the terms that apply are those of the companies on it when you use the app.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the app for anything unlawful, or to harm anyone;
  • try to make the AI models produce harmful content, such as content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that could help anyone hurt themselves or others, or try to get around their safeguards;
  • reverse engineer the app or our server, or extract their code, prompts or keys, except where the law allows it;
  • abuse the service: overload it, automate or scrape it, get around its usage limits, or resell it;
  • use someone else's device or data without their permission.

To report abuse of the app or of its AI features, write to info@rationalbit.com.

7. Subscriptions

Walk With Jesus Pro is sold, billed and renewed by Apple, through the App Store and under Apple's terms. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account (on your iPhone, Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions). Refunds are handled by Apple; you can ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

8. The Legal Part

No warranty. The app and its AI features are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that they will always be available or free of errors, or that any answer is accurate, complete or fit for your purpose.

Limit of liability. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, that comes from using or being unable to use the app. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid for Walk With Jesus in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or takes away rights you have as a consumer where you live.

Ending this agreement. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it; to end a subscription, cancel it with Apple. We may suspend or end your access to the AI features if you break these terms, or if an AI company or OpenRouter requires it. Sections 4, 5 and 8 continue to apply after that.

Changes. We may change these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of British Columbia decide any dispute about them, unless the law where you live gives you the right to go to your own courts.

The rest. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a part of them, we have not given it up.

Questions about these terms?

If anything here is unclear, or you want to report abuse, write to us any time.
